Clint We Love You

As many of you are aware we just lost a great friend. After a long and determined crusade, Clint's battle with AML (Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia) is over. He passed away this past Wednesday evening just as the blizzard hit. We are deeply grateful for all the love, thoughts, prayers, kind deeds, and donations that each of you have given. They have not gone unnoticed, and are greatly appreciated. As the prayers, flowers, and donations continue to come, please know that we are grateful.

Amy we love you! We appreciate the blog posts and the faith and determination of your character. We all are better people because of you and Clint. Thank you for letting us be a part of this experience.

Clint we love you we miss you. We will always love and care for you and your family. You didn't deserve this and you were strong in spite of it. We consider ourselves blessed to have been able to stand by your side. You have been and always will be a great, great man!

As requested by many, here are the details on the viewing and funeral. The viewing will be Sunday, Feb. 20 from 6-8 pm, Wing Mortuary (118 East Main St, Lehi). The funeral will be Monday, Feb. 21 at 11:00 am, LDS chapel (481 E 300 N, Lehi). There will also be a viewing before the funeral from 10-11 am at the same location.

Many have also requested what they might be able to do to help. If you are so inclined, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Friends 4 Clint fund (link below). Here is a link to Amy's blog and a place to leave memories, thoughts, and well wishes for Clint, Amy, and their children. http://clintandamyjepperson.blogspot.com/

Thank you to all those who have donated already! Your support is much appreciated!

I wanted to leave a quick post to reinforce the importance of helping Clint.

I have known him for 20 years and I can't say a bad thing about him. He is kind, trustworthy, hard-working, loyal, and friendly. Come to think of it, he is an "Eagle Scout" to the "Nth" degree. I love him as I do my own family.

As he battles this disease, his spirit is holding strong. It just takes a moment or two with him in the hospital and you can see the courage and strength he has to fight. He is a great example of how to face adversity head-on, without complaining or fear, simply dealing with the reality of today and looking forward to a brighter tomorrow.

If you take a moment, close your eyes, and think of how you knew Clint...he is the same person today, he just happens to be fighting a serious disease. By making donations, we can help him focus on the physical part of the fight and relieve some of the worry of the financial part.

Be strong, Clint! We love you!!

Kevin Franson
